I work in a healthcare setting. My company sent out emails that said that the top 3 locations with the most admits got a “prize” but didn’t say what the prize was. My location placed second and was given a “company funded luncheon”. Pretty much the fancy way or saying a pizza party. We had our asses handed to us with minimal staff and not only handled it but excelled at it. The company is making so much money (which I hate to begin with but unfortunately it’s true) and they give us lunch. Screw lunch what about a Christmas bonus for the first time ever? I like my job but I hate corporate. They don’t give a crap about anything but money which is even worse considering I work in healthcare.
