I work for a sporting event company that is hosting a big event this summer. We have about 50 full-time staff members and we knew that our workload would increase this in July. However, today's news was a shock.
The CEO sent an email that we can voluntary work on Sundays from 1-4, and starting May, we will be required.
This means that I will work 9-5, Sunday – Friday. NO EXTRA PAY (We are all salary employees)
I am paid below market value and officially PISSED. Now I am looking for a new job.
