My company doesn’t let us discuss wages

I just had my first day at my job in a well known convenience chain in Oklahoma, during my shift I was talking to my trainer and it came out that I’m making more than him, he was upset and is going to speak to the manager about it, the handbook says “Discussing salary, benefits, bonuses, evaluations, or any other compensation.” Is against rules. I’m worried they will take action against me and him, is this rule against Oklahoma labor law?
