The company that I work for received high praise for giving their employees raises during the pandemic and not firing anyone. We have a tool in our timecard app where you can compare your current and past wages. I looked at it today.
At this time in 2019, I was making $160 less per paycheck (gross pay) than I am making now, but I was bringing home $110 MORE per paycheck. You see, as they gave us raises, they cut the amount that they were contributing to other areas, like our healthcare premiums. All the rhetoric about how generous they've been to us plebs is just that, rhetoric. Our staff is all over the country and many are WFH (and I don't know many people outside my immediate region). What would be the best way to inform as many people as possible that they should go check their past pay like I did?
