I work for a company based in my home town but I have team mates all over the world, so I spend a lot of my work day on calls. I usually work 10-4, take a break and then work from 8-11 (required meetings across all teams globally.)
They've given is a back to office order. I don't want to commute 9-10, work 10-4, commute 4-5 and then work again. Also why go to office just to get on a call. I told them this and they said it didn't matter, rules are rules.
I want to quit but I'm not allowed to take earned vacation time on notice period, and I have some planned time off.
I'll probably use up all my vacation days then gand in my resignation.
