I work in a premium lighting showroom as a sales executive. Our monthly profits are amazing compared to other businesses and business isn't bad even in this economy. The company has set unrealistic targets which they know can't be met, and last month we couldn't meet their target. However, the expected ideal target was met but apparently that's not enough for the company. They're just getting more nonsensical and difficult to deal with.
The local employees get paid on the 5th of every month without delay and get all the rights.
We expats work overtime everyday; 11 hours per day, 6 days a week. And our salary comes around the 9th of every month. It's the 11th today and it seems like the salary won't drop until or after the 15th.
At this point everyone from the technicians, drivers, helpers, accounts, marketing, HR, designers .. literally everyone has been paid except the employees who actually deal with customers and make the sales; THE SALESMEN.
I really don't know what to do about this situation. I'm leaving this company in 2 months (thank god), I gave my 3 month notice last month and I don't know whether speaking up on this delay can cause any problems with my gratuity or my exit from this godforsaken company.
