My company had a complete work from home policy throughout the pandemic. Then in July of this year they released a new HR policy where employees would be needed to work from office only 4 days a month and this was not enforced. Project Managers were left to their own devices and they could chose whether they wanted to call the employees or not. My manager did not ask employees to work those 4 days from office and our project continued to work remote.
But now starting November they are requiring all employees to work from office 3 days a week. And the power has been taken away from the Project Managers to decide whether they want to bring their employees to the office or not.
I had been planning to quit for a long time. This just gave me a concrete reason.
