My company wants us to drive 300+ miles / 8 hrs there and back for a factory tour and training – do I have to go?

Pretty much the title, my company wants us to drive 170 miles each way to head office and back for a factory tour and training (which we usually complete on zoom). Do I have to go? How do I politely say no way? It would add 8 hrs minimum of driving onto my day and I’d have to leave home almost an hour before I usually wake up to make it on time – assuming the m25 behaves.. to return home 2.5 min hours after I usually do.
