They raised the minimum pay for all associates to $15…and proceeded to cut my hours…so now I make $15 an hour, but I work less and my paycheck is unchanged from $13.
We are hella slow and either have too many people, not enough people, and the same thing for clients each day – too many or too few.
We are so slow and so money-hungry, corporate is making my manager micromanage us by listening to our phone calls and learning why people won't schedule. They are also micromanaging the doctors, to the point where they will get in trouble if they prescribe something but don't do a test to justify (test in question is around $50).
Pets do not matter here, it's all about how many we can see each day and how much money we can make. When we discuss the practice, it's about how much $ we make each day and how much $ we can nab each visit. Not about 'oh wow, good job helping that pet not die in an emergency!'
Luckily for me, I'm about to get out of there for more hours, more money, and a stable environment.
