we work for a popular retail corporation. my coworker the past few years hasn’t had any issue getting black friday off at work (every year she goes out of town for a few days to be with her family for thanksgiving)
the store mgr kept ignoring her messages saying she cant work black friday until she called today and the mgr was rude to her and gave her a write up for missing this year. the manager also didnt even make the schedule yet for that week
i dont think this is okay at all and doesnt sound like it should be allowed?
should she try to talk to higher ups in the company and see what they say?
