Just wanted y'alls thoughts on this. I was talking to my 60 y/o coworker who said he was in the military. He said he has a full pension plan and everything and he could retire if he wants to. I asked him why he still works and he said because he wants to feel like he has a purpose. He told me I'd understand when I'm older. Fyi we work for minimum wage at a grocery store in canada owned by a company thats owned by a billionaire. I'm only 18 but I really doubt I'll understand when I'm older.
