Antiwork

my coworker told me in secrecy that our manager is threatening to fire me if I don’t accept to work exactly the way they want…but they have no replacements

I am a teacher and our school teaches online and/or in person classes. I live far from the school and sometimes I need to teach in person classes in two different periods of the day, so I have to commute twice a day (for no good reason since we teach online too). I put my foot down and said I'll only teach in person when it's convenient for me, otherwise I'm literally paying to work. my coworker (and friend 🤍) told me she is thinking of firing me if “things don't go her way”, but they have zero CV's coming in. what should I do if she wants to force me her ways?
