Like that is really the post. 11 hours of non stop labor, with only a 30 minute lunch break. Unpaid of course.
Hell, aside from that, I am expected to show up sometimes 30 minutes before opening(when scheduled) “as an expectation” for a store meeting where we discuss store stuff like sales. I do get to clock in so that is a plus, but still. If I am expected to show up at an earlier time then scheduled… just schedule me for that time….
But this why we need unions, worker protections, all of that. I should not have to be working 11 hours of my life with only 30 minutes of rest. This is utter bullshit. The pay is far above what I was making at my retail job, so unfortunately I must keep this work for the moment.
