My dad died less than 48hrs ago. My boss is already guilt tripping me into coming back to work.

As the title says. Throw away account for obvs reasons. I'm union, I get some paid bereavement days which is awesome. But state law also allows me to have up to 2 weeks of leave for bereavement. My boss asked me today when I'm coming back to work when I said I wouldn't be coming in on Tuesday as I have to assist my mom with the business side of death (which is fucked in it's own twisted way). Apparently a coworker is gone all next week on vacation and another one is supposed to be gone on Saturday and they're “counting on me being there”. Awaiting an email on Monday from our leave administration folks, but yeah. Sorry that my dad, the rock of my goddamn life, chose such an inconvenient time to die. And sorry I'm human and need to grieve.
