I recently started a new job working for installing audio and visual stuff like tvs for Buffalo Wild Wings and stuff like that.
I was already given major red flags when I went out to job sites with them and they’d do shit that would make osha have a field day, consistently encouraging you to stand on the very top of ladders and other various shady shit
Yesterday I was at the office with no real work for me to do other than bullshit work like sorting things and cleaning, I only get paid $13 an hour for office work so I decided there’s better shit I could be doing at home and asked to go home a couple hours early
Today I come in and he sits me down and tells me I lack initiative and my unwillingness to do shady shit like stand up on the top of a 12 foot ladder was a point brought up and he decided to fire me. I’m not super worked up about it as after realizing how little I’d actually be making I decided its not worth it and have been applying elsewhere but its my first time being fired from somewhere and it was insulting as hell
