Antiwork

My employer thinks I’m toxic and has told other employees I’m secret.

He says I’m “not a team player” here’s why. I refuse to answer any calls or text when I’m off and they seem to have a real big issue with this. I don’t work on call and never have. I’ve denied every opportunity of overtime they so gracefully try to get me on because multiple people have taken that opportunity and were forced to sign out early so as to not go into overtime pay. I fought for our employees to get the right to paid meetings over Microsoft team since they want to do them at 0900 and we have multiple people who work afternoon shift and are asleep or trying to get things done and my shift which ends at 0630. The employer kept fighting me on it saying they wouldn’t pay and threatened me with my job security. ( I plan on leaving in 2 weeks anyway)…

I’m currently fighting for the night shift employees to receive incentive pay. We found out every other department offers it to their employees at the discretion of the department head. When confronted my boss said he had no idea what I was talking about and told me “to stop while I’m ahead” I printed out the forms HR sent me and put them on the board at work. Still waiting on the rebuttals about it.

Fight for your right as an employee and for the right to be paid for what you work. You got this!
