My family won’t let me take time off work

So I graduate uni in July. Took any job I could get ended up with two, an amazon warehouse four days a week and a part time retail gig – working six days a week. For three months, then dropped the warehouse and kept the retail. Managed to save up 6k from leaving uni with nothing in my bank. This is enough for me to pursue a job in line with my degree in economics I’m even willing to move country if necessary. So I haven’t worked at all in 4 weeks, I’ve been resting going over my resume applying for grad jobs sending cover letters. They don’t seem to grasp the concept of how tedious these job applications are; details, cover letters, numerical and verbal tests, interviews, pre-recorded interviews etc – all take hours of your time. They are now telling me constantly to get off my “lazy ass”…

They don’t seem to grasp the concept of how tedious these job applications are; details, cover letters, numerical and verbal tests, interviews, pre-recorded interviews etc – all take hours of your time. They are now telling me constantly to get off my “lazy ass” and get a job in a bar or a supermarket or something. I literally received my last paycheck two weeks ago. I told them I’ve paid my dues now and I want to do work that is more meaningful and that’s what I went to university for. They tell me any work is good work and I should accept whatever I can get. Why are boomers like this?
