I know that this is not new but this is something that really rubbed me the wrong way. I’ve only been working here five months and my last days is the 29th of April because this was the last straw for me.
So i worked (im going to use pass tense because I HATE this job) at a fast food place that is pretty big named and I have worked in other big company fast food places so cameras are not unheard of but it’s how they are used that is bothering me. I already have some issues with this job but yesterday in a group chat with all my coworkers the assistant manager posted a recording of me and under it said I forgot to put a sauce in the bag for the order.
Now if she had sent it to me personally I wouldn’t be as phased but it’s because it was displayed for everyone else to see my screw up that I got frustrated and embarrassed! So right then and there I typed out my resignation and I handed it in. I worked at a job before this one where I left because the manager did the exact same thing but instead of video she would watch you make a mistake, take a picture than display it in the department for all to see including customers. I found it so embarrassing and upper management didn’t do anything when I complains to them about it so being at this job and dealing with the same thing, I’m over it.
I just needed a place to rant and complain because I’m currently at this job and just constantly keep getting annoyed and pissed off because I HATE IT HERE LIKE LITERALLY WOULD RATHER CLAW MY EYES OUT THAN BE HERE!!
