My Fiancé has been working full time (32+ hours per week) ever since April, and she just got knocked down to “Casual part time”

My fiancé has been working for a Luxottica company store ever since September of 2020. When she started, she was still going to college and could only work part time. She worked part time all the way until April of 2022, and she had been increasing her hours gradually up until then after she stopped going to college in December. Today, she got information from her manager that an audit had been done on the hours for the store she works for, and she had been knocked down to “casual part time” because she supposedly had been averaging 18 hours a week. As a result, not only is she still not getting full time benefits, but her benefits have been reduced, and now she doesn't even recieve holiday pay. For some more context, her specific store has been seriously struggling with staffing. Multiple members of management for that store are currently on leave for different reasons. To make up for this, my fiancé was promoted to being a keyholder, where she was promised a pay raise to $16, and she is currently making $0.57 less than that. She is, by far, one of the best employees at that store, regularly getting positive reviews from customers. Her store will fail without her, and yet, this is how she is being treated.

I'm not looking for any sort of action by making this post. I am simply just angry about how powerless we are against this. There are currently people who are trying to fight for her to stay, but in the meantime, we would really appreciate words of advice or support while going through this.

Tl;dr: Fiance works full time, but recieves absolutely no benefits, despite staffing problems at her store.
