My girlfriend and I both worked in Hospitality, she’s had only entry level hospitality experience (3 previous jobs), a dire CV and little no interview skills.
I redone her cv, and showed her where and how to apply for better responses, she’s had like 12 offers and 5 interviews after 5 days of applying.
I’ve been looking for 3 weeks, I am more experienced, more qualified and have a stronger network yet I’ve had one interview for a role in one of the sectors I’m looking at. Shes got tech, sales, finance, customer service jobs etc basically fighting over her. She’s had no experience beyond customer service/ tills and waitress experience.
What on earth am I missing ?
