My grandpa died last week and I asked to take the day off as one of my toil days, they made me take it as unpaid leave

The toil days I occurred by working on several occasions on the weekends, which you can only take as toil and you only get the x1 amount for and it’s max 8 hours. I literally give up my weekend to get nothing back from it, then they won’t even let me use it at a time when I need it.
