My job has me working on Labor day but I don’t get time and a half for it

My job had me and a bunch of new people work labor day and none of us are getting paid time and half for it since we haven't been here for a year while everyone else gets it. It's not even many older workers. It's like 75% new people and 25% veteran workers. It seems kinda unfair that me and the other don't get the extra pay especially since we dont even wanna be there while every other job has the day off
