So I took last friday off due to stress from my job and went to see my doc. I called my HR dept to get FMLA papers sent to my doc as doc was putting me on FMLA for a few days, along with meds to help with my anxiety depression etc. Of course I was going to quit anyway but that very day my job was posted on Indeed. I seen it posted yesterday and it said it was posted 3 days ago. So I'm in limbo at this moment. My HR called me today because doc hasn't returned the paperwork! I guess I'm just venting again.
I did clean out my desk last Thursday and let a few coworkers know I wasn't coming back due to asking for a raise over a month ago since boss hired me a “helper” making the same thing I was making and I'd been here 12 yrs! He also gave my “helper” the title of warehouse supervisor but I work in the office. The helper was no help to me! Fast paced office, tons of phone calls, emails and walk in customers with no help got old real quick!
Any advice for a 45 y.o with no college background, going thru a divorce with no job?
