Hey guys. I'm back with another rant about my stupid job.
So every week, we get these “mystery shoppers” who are paid by the higher ups of the company to make sure the workers are doing their job. No problem, right? Well, these mystery shoppers are a fucking scam.
I have psoriasis. It's an incurable skin disease which makes your skin dry, flakey, inflamed/infected, and scaley. I have it on my face, scalp, neck, and it goes down my body. I also have it on my hands and arms. Anyways, some customers are okay with it and others are curious about it. I always just tell them the name of the disease and mention that it's not contagious (I get asked that a lot). I guess my skin offended a mystery shopper so much that I was immediately failed and written up for looking “unkempt”. They called me a disgusting person for having psoriasis, claimed that I should start straightening my hair, or just shave it off (because my psoriasis is causing a bald spot on the top of my head. I'm 19) I'm mixed, though I might look a lot whiter than I should, I have dark curly hair which I just started to love. This company is on my last nerve. I'm ready to quit. I can't stand working here if the higher ups are literally finna write me up cause I don't look to their code. They've mentioned shit bout my acne too which is on my cheeks due to my flare ups of psoriasis. I can't control it. I'm on almost 10 different medications and creams to keep it at bay and this is what my workplace does for me in return.
