Discalimer: might not be antiwork material post
So 2 weeks ago I resigned from my actual job, and today was my last day.
After I resigned, my employer sent me the final payslip for the month, and I noticed that the “ticket restaurant” (a credit card we have to pay for lunch that is deducted from our pay every month) has not been deducted.
Every month we get X amount on the card for food and Y amount for transportation, and the end of the month, the amount of money spent from the card is deducted from the salary. The money is taken from the base salary, and it helps for the tax declaration for the year after.
This month (August), I had spent around 180€ for food and 35€ for metro tickets, so 215€ would have to be taken from salary.
I notified HR, when I first received the inicial payslip, so 2 weeks ago, that the amount was not correct and that the ticket restaurant hasn't been deducted correctly. She realised the screw up and told me that she will redo the payslip once they receive the final amounts from the card company, and resend it to me to sign it again.
But today was my last day, and I didn't work because I had one vacation day to take still, and I received the bank transfer and it's the full amount with no deductions.
Should I contact my now former employer to let them know they overpaid me?
not important to the question: I resigned because I found a better paying job, my managers understood it completely, we parted friends, and I was told 3 times that door was open if I wanted to come back or if I need recommendation.
