My last job said I'll have to pay a fee of 25$ to get my paycheck a second time since the cheque rebounded.
What they don't know is:
1. I know my rights
2. That's illegal
3. I already called Labour standards to see what I can do if they actually do remove 25$ off my paycheck.
It might be only 25$ but it's the principle of it all.
If they're gonna do it to me they probably did it to other people before. There needs to be an investigation on their accounting books to see if every single employee got the money they were owed for their labour. Also, if no one says anything, they'll probably do it again to younger folks who just entered the workforce and probably don't know their rights as much and that to me; is the worst part of it all.
Do you think what I'm doing is petty or am I right for doing what I'm doing?
