Before we get into it, let me tell you what we sell. We sell Premium products, and that requires a certain level of sophistication from a Salesman. A salesperson needs to be well mannered, informative and have good etiquette.
In recent months the management has completely lost it.
The management wants us to get off our seats, wait for customer outside as they park their car, walk in with them, & keep them engaged the whole time without giving them any space. They want us to greet them in a loud jolly gimmicky voice with hand gestures and show over enthusiasm.
They also want us to serve water by not directing them towards it, but by picking up the whole tray which has like 15 or so bottles and walk up to them, which doesn't make sense.
Recently, according to the management, sales have been down and this is the bullshit they're coming up with to keep us occupied. They can't stand the fact that they're still paying us minimum wage when they're not meeting their unrealistic targets. By the way, the business is doing exceptionally well, especially during COVID days the sales were more than tripling their projected targets every month.
They recently hired a guy just to spy on the employees and he comes up with the most annoying and nonsensical things, and now they sent this email.
They actually want us to tell them in percentage, I mean, how tf?
I work 6 days a week, approx 63 hours. My contract expires in 2 months and I'm out of here.
