My manager didn’t even wish me good luck or “all the best” yet he was the one who suggested that I take time off work?

There were some major issues going on at work that were causing me to feel stressed, I told my manager about those issues. He suggested to me (and he subsequently put into place a series of events) that caused my superiors (i.e. his managers) to put pressure on me to take an extended period of leave/time off work. At first, I was reluctant to do so, because I felt that the issues at work could be resolved if the managers themselves did something about those issues, but instead they just want me to take time off work. It upset me, since he was the one who suggested I take a long period of leave and/or leave the workplace permanently. What should I do and how am I supposed to interpret this? Thanks

TL;DR: Manager suggested and put pressure on me to take extended leave from work, yet he didn’t wish me good luck or all the best when I listened to his instructions?

Edit: It’s not just the lack of a goodbye/farewell as a common courtesy, it’s also the fact that a lot of uncalled for accusations, blame shifting, berating and personal attacks were made on me while the managers refused to deal with the organisational issues that I’ve raised with them politely….when I asked them what those accusations/personal attacks were about, they couldn’t even respond…
