If you receive messages from Amazon recruiters, please share this with them. I'm open to suggestions.
Hi Recruiter!
I've been contacted about amazon a few times for several roles.
At this time, I'll have to reject based on their treatment of employees, especially those in the warehouse.
For example: – Amazon drivers and warehouse employees are not permitted enough time for bathroom breaks, forcing employees to urinate in bottles. https://theintercept.com/2021/03/25/amazon-drivers-pee-bottles-union/
– During tornados, Amazon workers did not do enough to prompt workers to take shelters and phone bans prevented workers from hearing early warnings over the emergency. https://news.yahoo.com/amazon-employees-speak-against-controversial-163350203.html
– Early in the pandemic, Amazon workers were not promptly notified of potential exposure to positive cases and fired workers who organized protests to improve policies. https://www.theverge.com/2020/3/26/21194739/amazon-warehouse-workers-coronavirus-covid-19-outraged-informed
