My mom worked for a local car dealership. We live in a rural area. My mom worked in finance and worked over 80-100 hours a week. She was paid the most out of anyone working there. She got diagnosed with lymphoma.
They fired her the day after she was diagnosed. They tried to say that she did not work enough, but they really just did not want to pay her insurance for treatment. I remember specifically learning this on the way to homecoming. (She got some sort of phone call while we were shopping). Long story short, my family ended up homeless and separated soon after.
I wish i could name drop because i hate this place. but i like having a social media that is not linked to me personally. My mom still has cancer almost a decade later but we are no longer homeless and is doing much better health wise.
