I was fired on July 12th and company has to still pay me commissions. I get them on the 22nd each month. The accounting team will send me a report that shows my commissions month to date so I can see how much I’ll make. Then they send a final one the week of the 22 so I know what’s it’s gonna be .
Last month in July the final report ended up being 4 thousand lower than what I received as a report the week before. I emailed them back and finally emailed controller as well. She said we’re investigating it. And found out an error was made in the system and they will send separate amount as well . All good and everything’s great right ?
Well for august 22. A week ago I asked for the report on my commissions for the month. I get a report and all good. Then I get my commissions check and seems a tad low after taxes. I wasn’t gonna say anything but then HR sends me a report that is 1,000 dollars less. So this was the final commissions report .
I email him and copy the controllers showing the report I received last week was higher. They say they will investigate and get back. I email again the next day ( Tuesday ) asking for update and they say still looking it o and will get back to me .
Wednesday morning haven’t heard anything. How is it a company keeps fucking this up? They are a small company and based out of the middle of nowhere . Never had this happen before .
What can I do legally if they don’t adjust ? Or what should I say to them as a follow up at least ?
