Okay this is an edit because I'm newer to Reddit and don't know how to make a post (I'm on my phone) lol
But does anyone else think that we shouldn't have to “request” to take PTO? Like….. This is time off I've earned and I'm letting you know I'm unavailable, I'm not asking? Or is that unreasonable?
ETA: Obviously there needs to be allowances for staffing, but my issue is bosses who always deny the PTO saying it's “not a good time” when there isn't a staffing issue, making you miss important life events
