To have some context, this is the second job after graduation, where the first one I only had 5 months till I got kicked out because we weren’t good match at all and where I barely did anything useful. Now I have this new job I have started 3 weeks ago where I’m getting since day 1 tasks I have never done before, and whenever I showed hesitation they kept telling me I’m an engineer I should figure it out myself (without training or anything) and be able to do it alone (LOL). Anyway yesterday they told me I will finally get something “easier” to do and that they will try to train me more from this week on. Today I got a FULL PROJECT to do alone and I have one month to finish it (+other tasks) with tons of plans and documentations I have to make which I have ZERO idea about. When I showed my hesitation I was told TWICE that a student who studied in his second year could do this project easily, and that I’m an engineer how can I not be able to do it?
good to know is that I already expressed in the interview and on the first day to the boss how much I need training and time. Instead all I’m getting is tasks thrown at me and a supervisor getting pissed from “too many questions “ or me not understanding everything he says over Microsoft teams. I just feel so horrible, alone and hopeless.
