I got injured at work a couple days ago. It wasn't bad and if it hadn't happened at work I probably would've forgotten about it. I did have to fill out an incident report, but I was fine and talked with my supervisor and told him I didn't think I needed to go to the doctor or anything and could finish my shift.
As soon as my shift ended I got a text from HR saying now that my shift was over I needed to go to the doctor to get cleared for work.
According to the worker's comp guidelines they only have to pay me for the time spent waiting in the doctor's office if I go during work hours. But they conveniently waited until right after my shift finished to tell me that I needed to go to the doctor, after my supervisor told me I didn't have to.
