I work for a company from home and require a computer they send me, the computer has had many problems that has needed fixed until eventually it won’t even let me login after 6 tickets of troubleshooting, so we put in a ticket for a new computer. Week goes by, no computer.. okay, fine. Make a call, ask if they have an ETA. Turns out they never sent the computer. Okay, so let’s get this set up to actually get my computer. We set up a ticket, try to get it pushed to urgency. It’s Wednesday of the next week, still waiting on my computer. Turns out, they still have not sent my computer. They forgot or messed up, again. Not only did they do that but I’ve been notified within the last month 30 days of technical issues without a fix is termination (which I think is actually kinda ironic because wouldn’t this policy show how often and unreliable they are when it comes to technical issues?)
I was not notified of the policy change, I’ve got multiple ticket numbers, phone calls, texts, I’ve been doing everything to get back to work because I love this job but now I’m waiting on them to essentially terminate me after working with them the past month to get me back into work? It’s not like I’m a poor worker either, I get bonus checks every paycheck and was consistently the top person when it came to numbers.
I want to know if I can sue. There is no way I can be terminated because their support team has wasted 2+ weeks not sending a computer. After their support team troubleshooted for 2+ weeks and by troubleshooted I mean I was waiting for a call back after putting in multiple tickets
I’m so angry right now I want to get a lawyer but I’m not even sure if I can do anything in this situation besides take a 2 month loss (since December…)
