My work is railroading me on bogus claims. One of the managers has pulled me aside and asked me not to cry. Why? Why can’t I cry?

They have dragged this out for daaaays now. I haven't been given any papers or anything formal. They did an investigation on some things that happened that I did that were against policy. I was poorly trained so I didn't know better. I do want to cry. Might my tears activate some latent humanity in them? They have swung their dicks in the wrong direction and now they are backpedaling and being too nice. I think they fucked up.
