My workplace agrees to the antiwork mentality

Among all “Employer did this so I quit” stories, I want to share my experience on why my current employer is the best I'll probably ever have. After leaving my previous employer on a “mutually agreed separation”, I eventually got a job offer here which I accepted. During the initial onboarding a meeting with the CEO was included, and one of the first thing he said was “This is not a company where people are expected to stay, we want you to move on when we no longer are able to provide you with professional development. If we see that we no longer can provide this, we'll recommend you to move on, if you want to.”

His vision for the company is to keep it people first, customer second. And so far this holds true.
Every week a anonymous poll is taken by the employees (Winning-temp for the curious), and the responses matter. We have seen people in management positions be reassigned to different tasks, employees moved to a different team and changes in company policy to profit the employees.

Everyone has a direct line of communication to any individual in a management position, including the CEO, where we are highly encouraged to give feedback or suggestions, of which again takes effect rapidly if our concerns or suggestions are valid or agreed on by a majority of the employees. If the heads of the company do not agree, we are given a descriptive reason. In essence, the company runs on liquid democracy.

Some deals and agreements with customers have also been canceled or ended based on their treatment of our employees.

In other words, I am happy at work for once. Sure workload etc. can sometimes be overwhelming, but we help each other, and everyone are friends or friendly.

I'm sure someone will ask, the company is Norwegian but based of Spain, which might explain the difference in mentality by the CEO compared to what I see from my American friends.
