My works inconsistent start times

So when I started my new job I asked them what time I will be starting each day. The response from the women was 5-6AM. I live almost a hour exactly from my job and she warned me “Mike is extremely crucial about time” Mike being the guy I’m training with, we’ll one day I texted him 25 mins early saying I was running 3 mins behind. Well lately the 5-6AM start time has been recently switched to 4AM. That means for me to be at the shop by 4AM, I have to wake up at 2:30 AM so I have 30 mins to get ready and hit the road. But these start times are not consistent and last Friday my start time was 9:30AM.

People who have schedules like this, how do you manage? I do great with consistency and same time start each day. And honestly I can’t function like this.
