Need a new job?

First, let me preface this by saying: this isn't some promise that you'll get a dream job. I can only share with you what worked for me. Second, this isn't some bitcoin scam, or MLM crap. Now, onto the information. Many states offer job training assistance. I'm not talking about retail training, or something like that. I'm talking real, actual, useful job skills. These are the kinds of skills that get you noticed, and the kinds of skills you can actually use at your job.

Nowadays, degrees have very little value. I have a Masters degree in network security, but I couldn't get a job with it. I ended up working retail for 15 years and was swimming in student loan debt.

I took a few of these courses and I actually had a company call me, wanting to interview me. I didn't contact them first, I just had my information available to the public.

What this isn't: Its not a quick fix. It's not gonna be “Make 2k a week within 14 days” or something like that. It's hard work to get through these programs because they are usually a crash course to get you certified to do something. It's something that you will have to sacrifice for. It's late nights and early mornings to study. It's sleeping 4 hours a night so you can be ready for class the next day.

If you are truly serious about needing/wanting help, search for programs like this. My state paid for my tuition into one of these programs. If you don't know what to study, find something you are passionate about. For me, it was computers and teaching.

It's alot of struggle, but it's absolutely worth it.
