Need advice on how to gain the courage to quit my job.

I used to love my job as a waiter / bartender / maitre in a restaurant, but now I absolutely hate it. I’ll explain why: When i started last year i had no experience and i got given a lot of chances, which i then appreciated because they didn’t kick me out. It’s now been a year and for the past 6 months i have quite literally carried the front of house on my back. My boss is highly manipulative and empathic when he needs to be. I am really struggling with my mental health (also because of work) but i feel like I’m just stuck because he’s so insanely manipulative. I’ve told him numerous times i can’t…

My boss is highly manipulative and empathic when he needs to be. I am really struggling with my mental health (also because of work) but i feel like I’m just stuck because he’s so insanely manipulative. I’ve told him numerous times i can’t do the job alone, he refuses to hire people. I do managing of the front of house for €7 an hour, he doesn’t want to give me a raise.

How do i gain the confidence to leave without notice? (I can because i have no contract).
