So I turned down a 50 cent raise because I found out someone that was hired after me, was payed more for the same job. I found out the boss didn't want to disclose any of this and I asked if my pay would be retro to the time the other person was hired. I'm not signing the pay adjustment until I get some answers. He said that since we didn't know about the discrepancy, we shouldn't get any retro pay. Also, I'm female with a B.S. and the other person is male with less experience. It's very strange, but not the first time this has happened. We are also told not to discuss our pay which I know is crap.
