Need a day off soon and no I have used all of my pto. I work in a corporate place of business as an inventory manager and my job is not that important. I have missed several days before with pto and easily caught back up when I returned.
I like to be transparent with my boss about things but I know I cannot tell him the real reason without catching some flack. so I guess what I’m asking here if I should call in sick or find a good excuse??
The trip is strictly leisure to go see my girlfriend for her birthday and would only need a Friday off! Please enlighten me people of Reddit lol. I also am always on time and haven’t missed any work in the 6 months I’ve been with this company.
