I read something a while back that if you try and negotiate with at least a pair of employees and the employer retaliates you have more protection than if you tried to bargain alone.
This is due to the fact that my work is attempting to make me and the other Sunday worker come in on Sunday in the middle of the holiday weekend when literally everyone else in the company has a long weekend. This is a 180 from how they handled holidays earlier in the year but now they want to change.
It’s so asinine. Please interrupt your one chance to travel or spend time with friends and family to work one measly day.
So I want me and my Sunday buddy to tell them to shove it and we want holiday pay for Sunday and Monday or if we must work Sunday double pay which is the rate for working on a holiday.
