My girlfriend worked at a leasing office in a somewhat ghetto area for about two weeks until Last sunday morning she got a call from her boss' right hand lady saying that she was fired and they could not provide a reason. It has been 3-4 days, no check, no letter of termination. She went in today asking for both and they told her that they can only afford to pay her $2/hr less than what they guaranteed her and if she wanted her guaranteed pay rate she would need to contact the payroll management company. this has been very frustrating for us both as we have expenses to pay and we do not have time to be waiting around. If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom we would both appreciate it. TYIA. We are in Texas by the way.
