Need help to build a case in convincing higher ups to cut down days in which we need to be in office.

Hi all, title basically sums it up. I need help in building a solid case to bring to the higher ups at my company. I’ve been able to convince my team manager to back me on this. Background. The company has recently enforced the policy of a hybrid work week 3 days in off 2 days WFH. I have a longer commute than the rest of my team so I’m more inclined to fight for even one less day in the office. Among rising gas prices, the evident negative effects to our climate, and increased productivity when WFH I have also been in two accidents since I’ve had to start commuting again. I’m stressed, anxious and tired. My manager knows there will be push back and her insight is that they’re “old school” and that if other people are able and willing to commute from the same distance as me…

My manager knows there will be push back and her insight is that they’re “old school” and that if other people are able and willing to commute from the same distance as me why can’t I. Obviously I don’t see that as a legitimate reason to rationalize forcing people to work in office but I need more. I also do want to acknowledge that being in person is a pro in “teamwork and values/bonding” whatever whatever. Regardless, what can I counter those reasons with?

Thank y’all in advance!!
