An excellent employee of mine put in his two weeks' notice. He said he'd stay if we matched the offer. Unfortunately I think he was BS'ing the salary and my Fortune 500 company requires an offer letter to match. He can't produce an offer letter for what he's asking to stay- and I need him to have one so I can match it. Anyone have an offer letter from a manufacturing company? For $31 an hour? I want this guy to get paid…
Edit: To be clear- he asked to have $31 an hour to stay, but I don't think the offer he got was $31 from the other company, which may be why I don't have an offer letter. I don't think he ever really stated “they offered me $31/hr”.
