I work a job where they boast being a MULTIMILLION dollar company. We take care of people who have mental health needs. Every other day we get emails begging us to pick up more hours or clients. Most of the staff already cover 30+ hours a week. We don't get any hazard pay, no extra bonuses, no extra reimbursement or anything. We make 16.50 an hour regardless of experience, and let me tell you…. it's a hard job. They constantly are begging for staff, yet don't pay them liveable wages and are so down to the wire on staff that managers who were previously pencil pushers are now back in the field. But we just got told that the company reserved an entire deck for a baseball game! At this point I'm about to quit if I can find a better paying job. Cause I can't even pay my rent which is less than 1k a month!
