Need to vent right now.

Last three days I have been dealing with this god damn ear infection. THANKFULLY, I WFH so it's not like I am fighting this while being in an office. I would and should have taken a sick day but I am so backed up with emails and tasks. I know this may not be anti-work, but I am doing the minimum today. For anyone that is WFH just remember you are not a robot programmed to perform at 100%. If you're feeling like shit, take the day off. If you still feel like you need to log on for the day, do what you can and take most of the day. I can't imagine how worse I would feel if I had to actually be present in an office. I likely would have taken 2 or 3 days off which means I would pile more shit on top of the…

I'm not trying to sound like I hate my job. I actually really enjoy it. But that's the beauty of remote positions and I think more companies need to head in that direction. That's all I have to say and hope this helps. Have a great weekend.
