I have a lovely old lady who lives a few doors up who will on occasion stop for a chat. The other week I mentioned what I did for a living and she mentioned that her son is looking for drivers for the company he works for, I told her I could be interested depending on the pay etc.
It was 10mins from home vs 40-50mins at my current job which I enjoy and not overly strenuous job.
He rang me last night making me the outstanding offer of minimum wage, split shifts and weekends. He seemed really offended when I didn't take his offer.
