In my 20 years as a technical expert and a manger, I had the opportunity to work in many different work places, and be interviewed to the over a hundred. The main thing I learned is that if a company offers low pay, this always means that either this place is a career setback or that it’s a toxic work environment. Commonly both.
The reason is quite simple- either these work places cannot afford to pay their employees a competitive wage, meaning they will hire mainly those who have no other option, or they believe workers should be thankful for getting an offer from them.
Good career opportunities are always accompanied by a good pay.
